A riotous spin of love, marriage and subterfuge, The Merry Wives of Windsor follows Shakespeare’s comic icon Falstaff as he attempts to raise his fortunes by wooing two rich women at once. But once the wives wise up to his tricks, who will come out on top? Shakespeare’s loud and rambunctious comedy is given a freewheeling, deeply silly 1970s spin in this production by Mountview’s Acting students.
